Deleen began her career as a freelance journalist and copywriter in 1995, and has since been published in many of South Africa’s top magazines and newspapers, including Elle, Style, Men’s Health, Mail & Guardian and Business Report, together with having written PR and corporate-focused copy for a wide range of recognised companies, such as HRG Rennies Travel, GIBS Business School, Momentum, and the City of Johannesburg.

Deleen has been a freelance journalist/copywriter/editor/proof reader for 14 years, in which time she has learnt not only the core skills of her trade, but also additional skills and talents, including juggling a number of projects at once, meeting deadlines on time, every time, good presentation skills, the ability to work under pressure (is there any other way?) and a strong, positive attitude.
